Seems sometimes I have a hard time "Gettingaroundtoit".
This DVD was something I wanted to sit down and watch as soon as it arrived.
TODAY was the day when I had time to shut myself in my studio and watch it.
I am so glad I did.
This is beautifully done (with the exception of spelling Creager wrong in one spot!).
It's like having coffee and donuts with the artists!
I am reserving the right to play this anytime I am questioning myself.
When I think....who will ever like, want, buy this piece, I will remember what was said here.
I don't want to spoil the DVD for those of you who are Gettingaroundtoit!
So I will just say this, from the mouths of masters...do what you love, have fun doing it and be as gracious in sharing your experiences with others as these artists are.
It's what makes the World of Doll Art special!
Have a nice weekend.

Cindy, I don't have this video yet, but from what I have read/heard, it is a must have for every doll artist. Glad to hear that you feel the same way.
I have yet to order this DVD but have heard so many good things. Thanks for sharing Cindy! :)
You know I saw a trailer for this on youtube today and it looks great! Synchronicity has now led me to you so I will getaroundto it soon!
Sarah:)
Cindy have you seen Deb Wood"s fairies? I would love to be a doll artist! Check out her blog, they made my heart ache, I wish I could learn this!

I am not a doll artist and I think actually I would love to see this DVD. What is the title and where did you order it if I may ask.
Thanks for sharing your reaction

Morning Oopsie...
I know...saw the Misspelling...strange as they spelled it right everywhere else...
Oh well....
So happy you enjoyed the DVD...it was interesting to be in...I don't think any of us knew how they would put it together and look in the end... But we could not be more pleased...
Thanks for the review...
Have a Peaceful Sunday

Yes I'd love a list! I would love to try that, I almost drool at how wonderfully they are done. SAw a picture of one of her Nuns, loved it! She sculpts a soul into her dolls... not everyone can do that!
Cindy,
I think one of the most interesting things I discovered is that you can bake polymer clay more than once. Which I tend to forget sometimes. That makes the sculpture much easier to handle!I stayed home today and played with my clay. I'll post the little guy I made. My daughters are learning contact juggleing so I made a beginer juggleing dragon. Wow, I didn't even get out of my jammies all day...that's terrible, (but nice).
